Description:
1. Has specialist knowledge of supporting VMware Technologies - vCenter, ESX, vSphere and VDI
2. Experience with Dell hardware and EMC storage
3. Experience with Citrix Xenapp and Xendesktop
4. A strong experience and understanding with windows and Linux/Unix systems
5. Conduct new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades projects
6. Analyze and troubleshoot VMware server deployment and virtualization issues.
7. Provide documentation on installation and configuration procedures.
8. Performs advanced installation and maintenance of core infrastructure and client systems
9. Performs troubleshooting on hardware and software issues with infrastructure and client systems
Candidate Profile:
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of [Unix, Windows, Networking, Virtualization]
Required Skills:
1. Applicant should be comfortable working with executive level end users
2. Detailed understanding of operating system concepts
3. Good knowledge of multi-platform interoperability (Windows, Linux, UNIX )
4. Good knowledge of IT security
5. Demonstrated ability to design and document enterprise IT solutions
