Basic Qualifications:
1. Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
2. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
3. 0 - 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience
4. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, C++ and a scripting language such as JavaScript.
5. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
6. Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
7. Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
1. 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
2. Experience building cloud services on AWS
3. Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform)
4. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems and algorithms
5. Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
6. Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
