Job Role: Software Engineer
Job Summary :
Key Responsibilities:
The delivery of games that satisfy the vision of the studio and the regulations
of the gaming industry for (select) markets.
Develop & refine the prototype/design through successive iterations of studio
stakeholder feedback to deliver to desired vision and quality.
Develop an understanding with other members of the studio (requirements providers)
on the meaning of the requirements.
Identify potential problems before they occur so that risk-handling activities
can be planned and invoked as needed across the life of the game or studio to
mitigate adverse impacts on achieving objectives.
Assemble the game from the required components, ensure that the game, as integrated,
functions properly, and deliver the game.
Appropriate software engineering methods and tools are integrated into the studio's
defined software process.
The software requirements, design & code is developed, maintained, documented,
and verified according to the studio's defined software process.
Software testing is performed according to the studio's defined software process.
Perform Peer Reviews of studio components.
Data on defects identified in peer reviews and testing are collected and analysed
according to the studio's defined software process.
Technical Expertise/Education Required:
B. Tech. / BE / MCA /M. Tech. in Computer Science or IT .
Excellent C & C++ programming skills.
Good Linux development & debugging experience
Exposure to Embedded Software, Device Drivers, Protocol Stacks, Networking &
Graphics
Good debugging skills.
Strong Analytical Skills.
