Description:
1. Cotrbute to improving testing activities through the application of tools
2. Analysis, design, Creation of API test automation, structured handover of automation products to test teams and subsequent support for query resolution and maintenance.
3. Automating API tests using SOAPUI/POSTMAN/CA LISA/CA Dev Test/other tools. Adopt the best practice process for developing automated test programs
4. Support/contribute to the building API regression test packs.
5. Working alignment to the overall test automation strategy and vision, including the tools and technologies needed to support the strategy.
6. Support the effective and optimal usage of the automation assets by the test / project teams
7. Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to establish and reinforce automation development processes
8. Contribute to innovation in automation at all application tiers including UI, APIs, and mainframes
9. Be responsible for their own professional development needs and support the development needs of the team.
Candidate Profile:
Skills:
1. Good understanding of test automation frameworks and BDD/TDD techniques
2. Proven experience working within a test project
3. Exposure to technical testing experience in an Agile environment.
4. Previous experience in environments include Selenium, Restful Services, Java, Git, Tomcat, Jira, Junit, SOAPUI, Agile Scrum/Kanban.
5. Exposure to latest advancements in Testing - perform technical deep-dives into test scenarios, automation framework.
6. Exposure to maintaining test automation frameworks within large organisations.
7. Exposure in integrating automation tests with continuous delivery tools
