Job Role: Software Testing
Job Summary :
The Test Analyst is primarily responsible for certifying the applications
and obtaining client perspective before release testing. This role requires
not only application knowledge, but also system knowledge in how all components
work together and technical knowledge to perform preliminary troubleshooting.
This role is highly focused on quality and attention to detail. The Test Analyst
should think out of the box and intuitively at times to certify uncommon but
important scenarios. The Test Analyst needs to certify German applications
and interact with German speaking Developers and Clients and hence should
have good command over the German language (B1 or B2 certification in German
language)
Responsibilities:
Supports execution of test plans.
Responsible for writing test plans based on software
design requirements and use case scenarios
Partners with other teams to complete system validation.
Proficient in test management tools like ( Quality Center/JIRA)
Troubleshoots, tracks and escalates issues related to the test design process.
Supports execution of test plans.
Participates in the team’s design and development process.
Notifies and escalates issues related to validation cycle to Leadership.
Communicates project status to Leadership.
Communicates project status to Solution team and Leadership.
Takes ownership and responsibility for certification process during validation
cycles.
Evaluates test design effectiveness and Client feedback.
Coaches and trains team members on areas of expertise.
It would be beneficial to have a TA who has a proficiency
in spoken German (B1 or B2 level)
