Description:
1. As a software development engineer for AWS Marketplace, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and evolving the cloud infrastructure of web applications. You are expected to understand the core AWS services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability.
2. You will also be responsible to support and develop all CCaaS marketplace integrations. This role is a technical leadership role with cross-team impact. You will have a chance to influence platform direction, architecture decisions, and improve the way we work as a team. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence
3. Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
4. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
5. Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
6. Set up a monitoring stack.
7. Define service capacity planning strategies.
8. Implement the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
9. Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar
Candidate Profile:
Education: Post-Grad Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Required Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of web services and protocols.
2. Exposure to front-end engineering, and an in-depth knowledge of distributed systems architectures.
3. Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
4. Must have experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
5. Should have in-depth knowledge about the core AWS services, plus other industry-accepted integrations
