Description:
1. Play a hands-on role in design and implementation of the Data Warehousing Solution
2. Participate in the end-to-end delivery of solutions from gathering requirements, to implementation, testing, and continuous improvement post roll out using Agile Scrum methodologies
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience in the field of software development.
Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in software programming and/or data warehousing, in an Agile Scrum environment
Required Skills:
1. Strong experience with Databricks and T-SQL, and familiarity with Synapse is required
2. Multi-dimensional modeling experience, in particular design of snowflake and star schema models based on business domain definitions
3. ETL process design including techniques for addressing slowly-changing dimensions, differential fact-journaling (i.e. storage optimization for fact data), semi-additive measures and related concerns, and rolldown distributions
4. Entity-Relationship (“ER”) modeling techniques and in T-SQL
5. SQL query optimization
6. OLAP optimization
7. Strong knowledge of project tracking software like Jira
