The journey of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute, began in 1905 at Pusa (Bihar) with the generous grant of 30,000 pounds from an American philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps. The institute was then known as Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) which functioned with five departments, namely Agriculture, Cattle Breeding, Chemistry, Economic Botany and Mycology. Bacteriology unit was added in 1907.
Walk-in-interview for the post of Field Skilled Assistant (FSA) (Rs12662/- consolidated ) under Bio-safety Research Level II (BRLII) trial on Bt brinjal purely on contractual basis for one year to be held on 30th September, 2016. Details of the posts are as below:
Essential: B.Sc. (Biotech./Microbiology/Biology)
Desirable – M.Sc. (Biotech./Microbiology and candidate with one year hands on experience in molecular biology
will be given preference.
Date of walkin interview : 30/09/2016 at 10 am
