Description:
1. Implement and automate infrastructure solutions that support IBM Cloud products and infrastructure.
2. Support the compliance and security integrity of the environment
3. Partner with other teams, managers and program managers to develop alerting and monitoring for mission-critical services.
4. Support development of new and enhance existing capabilities for our compute infrastructure services
5. Provide technical escalation support for other Infrastructure Operations teams
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Required Skills:
1. A software engineer or a QA engineer with a knowledge of at least one of the programming languages: Go or Python
2. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
3. Experience with RESTfull API
4. Experience with automated testing
5. Knowledge of cloud environments, CICD and Kubernetes
6. Familiar with Network protocols - tcp/ip, etc
7. Network verification experience
8. Experience in process improvement and/or automation development.
9. Experience managing software/application development and IT infrastructure related.
