Description:
1. Ownership of the implementation (estimation, breakdown of tasks) for business functional specifications through the full software development lifecycle.
2. Ownership of maintenance and support issues as they come up during the project lifecycle pre and post go-live. Provide technical assistance to other teams – support, QA, business analysis.
3. Ability to work with remote team in a geographically distributed development model.
4. Evaluate, apply & adoption of new technologies and tools within the Devops team and across the organisation to provide productivity, efficiency and scalability benefits.
5. Collaborate and share technical and business knowledge to members of the Devops Team and wider organisation.
6. Agent of constant improvement – within development and across organization.
Candidate Profile:
Education: B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA Degree in an IT/ Computer Science or related course is a prerequisite
Experience: +1 years experience working with AWS cloud
Required Skills:
1. Good working knowledge of devops processes.
2. Experience with CICD processes
3. Knowledge and experience working with GitLab
4. Knowledge and experience working with AWS
5. IAC experience in Cloudformation and/or Terraform
6. Scripting in unix languages (bash)
7. Experience using Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch
8. Understanding of Metrics, KPIs and tracing used to monitor application performance
9. Tooling/Testing
- Working Knowledge of GitLab, branching and code managment
- Practical experience with IAC tooling such as Cloudformation and/or Terraform
- Understands fundamentals of JVM memory management
- Knowledge of Java applications and capable of troubleshooting application issues.
