Job Role Chargeman/Armament Fitter/Torpedo Fitter/Carpenter/Joiner/ FitterAuto/Ammunition Mechanic-II
The full range of operations in which a nation’s naval forces may be involved is vast, ranging from high intensity war fighting at one end to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations at the other end. This broad continuum of operations can be broken down into distinct roles, each demanding a specific approach to the conduct of operations
1. Naval Armament Depot, Visakhapatnam invites applications in the prescribed format as given at Annexure from eligible Indian citizens for the following posts and vacancy position given below.
POSTS at SI. No. A & B
Essential Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institution or A Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline from a rec-ognized University or Board.
For Post at SI.No. A
Supervision of jobs on Upgradation and maintenance of armaments, weapons and machines.
For Post at SI.No. B
Supervision of jobs on Upgradation of Ammunition and work on explosives.
FOR POSTS at SI. No. C, D, E & F
i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institute/Board with knowledge of English.
ii) Should have completed Apprentice Training in the Trade Mechanic or equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy or Air Force.
For Post at SI.No. C
Upgradation and maintenance of armaments.
For Post at SI.No. D
Upgradation and maintenance of Guided Weapons.
For Post at SI.No. E
Joinery works with wood.
For Post at SI.No. F
Maintenance and Repair of MT Vehicles
FOR POST at SI. No. G
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution with two years Certificate
Course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute under the Craftsmanship Training
Scheme in any of the following Trades:-
(b) Electronic Mechanic
(e) Instrument Mechanic
(g) Mechanic, Communication Equipment Maintenance.
