Job Role: JAVA PYTHON Applications Developer
Job Summary :
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, with solid knowledge and
experience developing bank applications in one or more major languages (Java,
C/C++/C#, etc).
An ability and willingness to pick up new technologies quickly; no attachment
to any one language or platform
Working knowledge of SQL and both relational and object databases
Rigorous attention to good housekeeping - documentation, change control, testing,
etc.
Some understanding of the Rates business - bonds, swaps, repos, etc., both from
an operational and a pricing/risk standpoint
Ability to communicate effectively with distant users, gather requirements,
perform analysis, make changes, test and deploy while working independently
but not in isolation.
