Job Description:
1. Designs and implements new interface components in collaboration with the product owner and other Micro Focus development teams.
2. Enhances existing components with new capabilities whilst maintaining compatibility.
3. Maintains the existing components and resolves problem reported by customers.
4. Provide feedback on test plans, test cases, and test methodologies.
5. Writes and executes unit tests for assigned portion of application
6. Research new technologies for feature improvements
7. Works with other software application engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions.
8. Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
9. Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Experience:
1. 3 - 5 years of software development experience building large scale and highly distributed application
2. 3+ years with Strong UI interface designing and building.
Technical Skills:
1. Proficient in Angular JS/Angular, Javascript/JQuery, HTML/CSS, CSS Preprocessing.
2. Good to have knowledge and hands-on experience of Java application development.
3. Experience in building applications on top of one or more platforms – Linux, Windows and MAC.
4. Exposure to UI Testing using HTML Unit web driver, Karma, Protractor or equivalent tool.
5. Experience in Web-site design, software design – coupled with creative streak.
6. Exposure to Cloud technologies is a plus
7. Experience in Selenium, Jasmin UI testing tools.
