Description:
1. Solid understanding of PHP 5, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON, and cross browser development.
2. Experience with at least one PHP based framework such as Zend, Cake, or Symphony.
3. Ability to program anywhere on the web technology stack.
4. Experience developing user experiences (UX) and application flow.
5. Understanding of object-oriented design principals and MVC.
6. Dedication, teamwork and professionalism.
7. Ability to own features from conception to completion.
8. Good communication skills within and across disciplines.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
1. BE/B.Tech/MSc/MCA
2. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 2 - 3+ years building web based applications.
Technical Skills:
1. Familiarity with JSON-REST APIs and creating flexible front-end applications to support those.
2. Experience with automated testing using PHP Unit or equivalent.
3. Experience with web based data visualization and reporting.
4. Experience with databases, specifically MySQL and/or MongoDB.
5. Experience designing web applications that scale.
