Job Description:
1. Creates user assistance (UA) deliverables that enable users to deploy, administer, and use SAP software. UA deliverables include, but are not limited to, terminology, UI texts, guides, multimedia, scripts, context-sensitive help, tutorials, and social-media content.

2. Collaborates and communicates with internal stakeholders, such as subject-matter experts, user experience (UX), development, validation, and product support, as applicable.

3. May collaborate and communicate with external stakeholders such as customers and partners to develop and review UA deliverables through, for example, customer engagement activities, social media, usability tests, and feedback channels.

4. May identify information need of users for UA deliverables and other content by researching social media (for example, discussion forums on SAP SCN), and is aware of and responsive to what users are discussing.

5. Ensures UI texts are clear, translatable and support the tasks of the user. Acts as an advocate for an excellent user experience.

6. Uses appropriate style and tone for the product and the audience according to the target group and market. Seeks guidance and support of more senior colleagues.

7. Applies all relevant SAP standards and guidelines for the given product/area, and ensures UA deliverables are aligned with them, as well as with the content architecture.

8. Proofreads and edits content for relevance and linguistic correctness, as well as for terminology that is simple, consistent, and that conforms to industry standards.

9. Uses the software to test the accuracy of UA deliverables.

Candidate Profile:
Qualification:
University Degree (for example, in technical communication or a related subject, such as languages, translation, or media and communication studies).

Experience:

1. 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in Information development.

2. Experience in Agile and Lean Software Development.

Required Skills:
1. Ideally first-language proficiency in English, or excellent written and spoken skills in English, preferably with excellent written and spoken skills in one or more local languages.

2. Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills.

3. A willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice.

4. The ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality.

5. Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members and to participate in knowledge transfer.

6. Good understanding of the core functionality of the tools involved and may trouble-shoot specific issues.

7. Ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner.

8. Ability to work towards tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality documentation.

9. High performance and learning orientation.
