Description:
1. Build data pipelines
2. Utilize platforms like snowflake, talend, databricks etc.
3. Utilize cloud managed services like AWS Step functions, AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB
4. Develop custom solutions using Apache nifi, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Hive, and/or Spring Cloud Data Flow
5. Develop federated data services to provide scalable and performant data APIs, REST, GraphQL, OData
6. Write infrastructure as code to develop sandbox environments
7. Provide analytical capabilities using BI tools like tableau, power BI etc.
8. Feed data at scale to clients that are geographically distributed
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Any Graduate
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of significant experience in application development.
Required Skills:
1. Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development.
2. Experience working with high volume data and computationally intensive system.
3. Garbage collection friendly programming experience - tuning java garbage collection & performance is a must.
4. Proficiency in the development environment, including IDE, web & application server, GIT, Continuous Integration, unit-testing tool and defect management tools
5. Domain knowledge in Financial Industry and Capital Markets is a plus.
