Role and Responsibilities:
- Work on Flow Controls and instruments Sustaining Engineering efforts as a member. Provide additional support as needed for other E&D projects.
- Prepare and revisit to Instruments product part and assembly design layouts with complete GD&T, analysis of fits and clearances.
- Create 2D and 3D CAD models and assemblies for Production/Manufacturing using SolidWorks.
- Modify existing models as per engineering revisions.
- Provide drawing packages including details, assemblies, layouts, and BOM.
- Adherence to quality process. On-time delivery & Quality of the deliverables.
- Communicate and coordinate results with the team members.
- Collaboratively work with other teams.
- Willingness to learn is critical.
- The person will be handling all Engineering Change Requests/Notifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Degree in Mechanical desired with relevant exposure to design/drawing environment from 1 to 2 years.
- Software skills: SolidWorks (Must), ACAD, Awareness of PDM Practices.
- Strong Knowledge of modeling and drafting, detailing practices.
- Good awareness of sheet metal, Casting, Plastic molding, or Product Design.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and International Standards is preferred.
- Good drawing reading and understanding abilities.
- Respect the company’s values and ethics.
- Good communication skills are desirable.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, GD&T, Sheet metal
- Problem-solving and result-oriented skills.
- Experienced in the oil and gas industry (Added advantage).
