Roles and Responsibilities:
Proven experience in network operations, preferably within a data center environment.
Monitor network performance and health using network management tools and dashboards.
Monitor the network infrastructure, systems, and applications using network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Respond to network incidents and technical issues, investigating and diagnosing the root causes and implementing necessary corrective actions.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, firewall, network monitoring tools and technologies.
- Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools.
- Experience with data center infrastructure and equipment.
- Solid understanding of network security practices and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (i.e Pcap & DPI analytics using wireshark etc).
