Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up test environment.
- Develop test cases against requirements/ user stories.
- Execute assigned test runs and update Test Case management and Defect Tracking Tool Enter defect details and links to appropriate test runs.
- Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
- Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
- Regular status reports of testing activities.
- Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
- Generate test reports.
- Develop Test Automation scripts under supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles, Testing Life Cycle and testing Concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS and software practices.
- Comprehend Test set-up.
- Test automation knowledge and prior experience with Selenium is a definite plus.
- Working knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel.
- BE/ B.Tech in the disciplines of EEE/ ECE/ CSE or MCA degree or equivalent experience.
