Role and Responsibilities:
- Performing activities involving Design of metal and composite parts including tolerancing and conceptual designs for Commercial aircraft and Helicopters.
- Develop and implement designs for aircraft manufacturing.
- Create prototypes, models and computerized images for design (2D & 3D CAD Data).
- Analyze design and finished product for Tolerancing studies.
- Follow all set quality standards, processes, engineering principles and best practices.
- Establish timelines and work processes for finished product.
- Collaborate with other teams to determine if designs meet customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Strong engineering fundamentals including knowledge of structural design, mechanical design, material properties & some awareness of Aerospace Industry standards for aircraft Structures.
- Knowledge of GD&T & Good at engineering Drawing Reading & Creation.
- Candidate should be a technically adept problem-solver, eager to use their mathematical and scientific abilities to build and solve Design Problems.
- Awareness & Knowledge of CAD Tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, Unigraphics/NX) for Modeling would be an added advantage.
