Role and Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of ServiceNow developers, ensuring the successful delivery stories and activities related to SPM. Stay current on product development/releases to ensure solutions consider the latest capabilities. Lead the planning for product releases and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. Collaborate with the SPM Product Owner on the product roadmap.
- System Expertise: Evaluate the latest ServiceNow SPM product innovations and implementing as applicable according to product roadmap.
- ServiceNow Configuration: Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow SPM modules.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure solutions align with business goals.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow solutions, ensuring ease of maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance and testing of developed solutions to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide technical support to clients and team members.
- Release Schedule: Manage team releases and deliverables via Scrum processes.
- Upgrades and Maintenance: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow releases (Named and Store) and perform upgrades and maintenance activities as required.
- Best Practices: Stay current on industry best practices and trends in ServiceNow and apply these insights to improve processes and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- ServiceNow certification or equivalent experience. Administrator level experience in ServiceNow.
- Experience in the Life Science/Pharma/Medical Devices/Healthcare Industries Deep knowledge of the SPM platform, tools, and capabilities.
- Proven experience in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, with a focus on SPM.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
- Ability to work with global teams to achieve significant initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English. Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
