Role and Responsibilities:
- Work on developing data science based solutions for various business problems.
- Collaborate with a team of high-performing analysts & data scientists on solving real-world problems.
- Get experience working on a variety of areas such as forecasting, anomaly detection, behavior modeling, churn analysis, recommendation engines, topic modeling etc.
- Think creatively, proactively, and futuristically to identify new opportunities within Snowflake’s long term roadmap for data science.
- Elevate the art of data science practiced at Snowflake.
- Act as “customer zero” for Snowflake so we can continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive Snowflake product and demonstrations of our internal Snowflake on Snowflake utilization.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Currently enrolled in a MTech degree program in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, computer engineering, applied mathematics, economics, etc.
- Interest and basic training in one or more of Statistical Methods, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Optimization, Natural Language Processing and related topics.
- Competence in data wrangling using Python and SQL.
