Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completeness & accuracy of financial information for the Indian entity; responsible for business planning, P&L & balance sheet (as per US GAAP & India GAAP).
- Responsible for treasury function including cash flow & funds flow management.
- Responsible for direct & indirect tax & other regulatory compliances (STPI / SEZ, FEMA, companies Act etc.)
- Identifying and developing controls and processes to ensure risks and opportunities are highlighted.
- Continuous focus on process improvements.
- Proactively support business and operations in terms of maintaining and strengthening of internal controls and providing input for strategic decisions.
- Participating in strategic initiatives, strategic vision & mission including long term plans.
- Responsible for supporting finance & controlling departments of Seagate headquarter and related companies.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- IND AS transition experience (Added advantage)
- Leading / Mentoring a team of 3 – 4 reportees.
- ERP – Tally, Oracle, SAP.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Should have strong experience with corporate finance.
- Should have strong experience in financial accounting / planning / analysis and forecasting.
- Should have strong understanding of General Ledger, Reconciliations and MIS Reports.
- Should have strong skills pertaining to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Banking.
- Should have experience in handling internal audits.
- Should have strong experience with team management / leadership.
- Should have experience in taxation (Direct and Indirect)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Staff Management Skills.
