Role and Responsibilities:
- Writing unit tests and also incorporate Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Actively participate in discussions to architect future solutions and choose technologies.
- Work in an Agile environment.
- Build microservices in NestJS and deploy them on Kubernetes using modern languages.
- Collaborate with the team to take advantage of new concepts/ technologies.
- Contribute to our technical direction and standards with engineers on the team.
- Participate in the team’s goal-setting discussions with Product Management.
- Continuous grooming of user stories, estimating them, identifying requirements of SPIKEs (Technical Enabler stories)
- Participate in technical support activity for the platform.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Strong communication skills to share & understand ideas. Must be able to understand the requirements elaborated by the Product manager and other stakeholders.
- Strong design skills to participate in design discussions and suggest valid recommendations to be incorporated to achieve a performant and secure SaaS platform.
- Strong coding skills to develop microservices using NestJS.
- Strong debugging skills to investigate any support tickets and other defects in the system
- Strong unit testing skills to write unit tests and incorporate Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Strong database knowledge both SQL and NoSQL to optimize the queries.
- Good to have an awareness of the various services offered by Azure services.
- Must be aware of Auth0, how it works, and application configuration in Auth0
- Good to be aware of API Gateway like Ambassador.
