Role and Responsibilities:
- Makes sure that quotes are processed through the quoting process in a timely manner.
- Processes incoming orders to customer order specifications.
- Computes price, discount, sales representative’s commission, and shipping charges as required.
- Interfaces with company branches and outside sales by providing customer-order quotes, ship dates, and order status information.
- Uses product knowledge to inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customers.
- prepares invoices and shipping documents such as export papers, and commercial invoices.
- Answers questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directs them to the person who can assist them.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Science degree with experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a supply chain, Shipping coordinator or similar role
- Extensive know-how in logistics operations.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office as well as any industry standard computer programs.
- Experience in preparing shipping documents, Sales Orders, and reporting.
- Knowledgeable on freight terms.
- Previous experience with Manufacturing ERP.
