Role and Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations.
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Document and articulate business requirements, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Work with developers and designers to translate requirements into actionable solutions, applying agile methodologies throughout the development cycle.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any identified issues.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data visualization tools like Power BI to analyze trade compliance data and identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
- Generate insightful reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze project outcomes and recommend changes to optimize future iterations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to trade compliance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize basic Python scripting for data analysis tasks (a plus).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of experience working as an Associate/Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements, identify stakeholders’ needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Experience with software QA processes and testing methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI (or similar).
- Basic knowledge of Python scripting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Understanding the Trade compliance domain is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
