Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the Data Asssessment and Privacy Framework across the organization.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure data protection and privacy compliance across the organization.
- Oversee the organization’s data processing activities, ensuring transparent and secure data collection, storage, and usage.
- Review data processing activities, ensuring they align with the purpose and consent provided by Data Principals.
- Monitor and analyze data flows to identify potential risks or breaches.
- Collaborate with client and account to identify the potential privacy risks and conducting risk assessments.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with data protection policies.
- Conduct and oversee Privacy Impact Assessments to identify potential privacy risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Investigate and assess the impact of data breaches, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely reporting to the relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for employees, contractors, and stakeholders on data protection principles, policies, and best practices
- Act as the point of contact for all matters related to data assessment and protection, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data protection considerations are integrated into business processes.
- Design of Data Governance Organization including steering committee, data governance office, stewardship layer and other working groups.
- Setup people and processes including relevant roles,responsibilities and controls, data ownership,workflows and common processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Working exp of Data Governance tools such as – Collibra , Custom workflow BPMN development and how to integrate various applications or systems with Data Governance tools.
- Develop API REST, SOAP to expose the metadata functionalities to the end users.
