Job Description:
1. Ensuring that the data being used in the project is accurate, complete, and free from errors. This involves working with the data team to define data validation rules and test cases, and performing data validation checks to identify and resolve any data quality issues.
2. Ensuring that the project is delivered with high quality. This involves developing and executing test plans, defining quality metrics, and identifying and reporting issues or defects.
3. Continuously improve the processes used in the project. This involves identifying areas for improvement, recommending process changes, and implementing process improvements
4. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of the project. This involves using test automation tools and frameworks, and collaborating with the development team to integrate automated testing into the project's build and deployment pipeline.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as the data team, development team, and project management team, to ensure that the project is delivered with high quality and meets the project requirements.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: Candidate with 2 - 5 years of experience in the field of Software Testing
Required Skills:
1. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, data analysis, and statistical techniques. Experience in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R will be an added advantage
2. Experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies, including test planning, test case development, and defect management
3. Experience with data quality assurance processes, including data validation, data profiling, and data cleaning.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills, as they will be working closely with data scientists, developers, and other stakeholders in the project.
5. Knowledge of the banking industry, as this can help them better understand the project requirements and ensure that the project is delivered with high quality
