Description:
1. Develop custom WordPress websites and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2. Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
3. Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress development trends and technologies.
5. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs.
6. Test websites and plugins for performance, security, and compatibility with different devices and browsers.
7. Provide technical support to clients and address any issues that arise.
8. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 - 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2. Experience with WordPress development tools such as WordPress Codex, WP CLI, and Git.
3. Knowledge of WordPress best practices for security, performance, and SEO.
4. Ability to customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP and CSS.
5. Fliarity with responsive web design principles and techniques.
6. Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder.
7. Knowledge of WordPress multisite environments.
8. Familiarity with e-commerce plugins such as WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.
9. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Codeception.
10. Experience with cloud-based development environments such as AWS or Azure.
