Description:
1. Work with the Product owner to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
2. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
3. Coach product owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog, including empirical planning
3. Appreciate the depths of Lean and Agile practices and principles, help teams appreciate them
5. Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
6. Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
7. Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
1. Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization
2. Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
3. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
4. Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
5. Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
6. Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
7. Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
8. Exposure to cloud technologies
