Role and Responsibilities:
- Working on Documentation of new features for Altair OptiStruct Online and Installation Help.
- Building new problems for Altair OptiStruct Verification Problem Manual, Example Problem Manual & Demo Problem Manual.
- Creating detailed technical Step-by-Step Tutorials to showcase OptiStruct features and their setup and post-processing using HyperMesh, SimLab, and HyperView.
- Ensure product quality during the OptiStruct development phase, including monitoring and signing off on Automated Quality Assurance and dedicated Industry-standard Regression testing.
- Coordinate and iterate with the OptiStruct Development team regarding the results of Automated QA testing and Industrial Regression testing to ensure high standards of fidelity and robustness.
- Work with the Process Improvement team to drive process enhancements and improve process automation.
- This position requires a high level of initiative, great attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, ability to work with a global team, and possession of excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Master’s Engineering student in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automobile/Civil or relevant Specialization.
- Knowledge of HyperMesh or equivalent FEA pre-processing tool, with 1-2 years of experience is required.
- Knowledge of OptiStruct, Nastran, Abaqus, or equivalent FEA solver, with 1-2 years of experience is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills are required.
- Excellent Technical writing skill is required.
- Familiarity with system, software, and validation development life cycle.
- Windows Microsoft Office tools, like MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint are required.
- MATLAB & Python knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environment and basic scripting skills is a plus.
