Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and managing a set of metadata and quality control capabilities to ensure that.
- Systems of record are fit for purpose.
- Data is well-defined and fully understood; risks in the data landscape are identified and managed.
- Data can be consumed with confidence in their quality, integrity, and lineage.
- The organization has confidence in the data available.
- Emphasis is given to the most mission-critical data, based on risk and value.
- Assess, design, and implement internal control frameworks around data management, data governance, and data quality within complex system landscapes.
- Support data quality agenda supporting Senior Reg Capital Leaders for scope, definition, prioritization, and resolution of data quality issues.
- Data quality subject matter expert (SME), providing quality monitoring and audit support for Enterprise Data Stewards (EDS)
- Build on the existing business glossaries, working with business analysts and other stakeholders to establish concise, understandable definitions that accurately reflect the business purpose and resonate with the various consumers.
- Work with business analysts and solution designers to facilitate the capture of metadata as core change and operational deliverables; Oversee the maintenance of metadata artifacts, reporting and escalating where appropriate, resolving issues, gaps, and inconsistencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of tools like Informatica Power Center, Talend, MySQL Workbench, SQL Developer, Data Profiling and Analysis, and Data Cleansing.
- Exposure to working with MDG9.0/9.1/9.2 on SAP S4HANA is preferable.
- Exposure to working with a Data Warehouse like Snowflake is preferable.
- Exposure to working with ETL/MDM tools like Boomi is preferable.
- Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement global data standards and global technical/process solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Snowflake certification is preferred.
