Role and Responsibilities:
- Deep analysis of the scientific literature to index molecular interactions and cellular mechanisms of normal and pathological processes.
- Uses scientific expertise to ensure that the information is properly presented and organized following Editorial policies in our Systems Biology database.
- Adheres to Content publishing schedules and quality standards.
- Maintains and develops scientific knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on scientific trends and developments related to the employee’s editorial responsibilities.
- Takes initiative by raising, discussing, and resolving subject matter and production issues.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Degree in Biology, Life Sciences or Medicine.
- Strong background in cellular and molecular biology processes, with basic knowledge in human pathology.
- Proficient in English.
- Good scientific research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Used to work paying attention to detail, with high ability to interpret and explain large amount of data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of diverse collaborators.
- General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
