Role and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate journals in line with the Web of Science Editorial Triage criteria to determine whether a full editorial evaluation is merited.
- Closely liaise with the Web of Science Editors to facilitate a seamless journal evaluation process.
- Investigate, resolve, and reply to queries from journal editors and publishers regarding coverage and selection criteria.
- Own coverage-related decisions and ensure these are clearly communicated to journal editors and publishers according to defined KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Web of Science editorial team to ensure efficiency and consistency of decision-making.
- Contribute towards the maintenance and curation of dynamic collections of scholarly journals for indexing in the Web of Science Core Collection.
- Actively participate in team discussions about policy, process, and workflows.
- Keep up with developments in the publishing industry that could influence Web of Science editorial processes.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Educated to a degree level within a STEM subject.
- Native English or high level of English language proficiency.
- Highly customer-focused, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
