Role and Responsibilities:
- Actively control inputs on engagements such as time, third-party costs, and expenses and challenge charges as required across a portfolio of project.
- Support the financial management of a portfolio of projects across their lifetime.
- Support in the preparation and execution of billing clients as well as following up on active debtor management.
- Engagement financial reporting to Business Finance on a weekly & monthly basis.
- Support engagement financial analysis and engagement management needs & serve as a POC for Business Finance.
- Perform and manage day-to-day project management office (PMO) functional tasks and day-to-day contract management activities in coordination with Business Finance.
- Requires professional interaction and communication, both within the Deloitte USI office and Deloitte Switzerland offices.
- Actively participate in calls with Business Finance leadership and provide quality inputs, which enables them to make decisions.
- Contribute to the growth of the Deloitte Switzerland Controller Practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 0-1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies, experience with Excel, word, and other office programs.
- Able to work autonomously, highly self-motivated to work independently.
- Good MS Excel skills are a must. Proficiency in data validation, logical functions in MS Excel, ability to analyze large data in Excel, and be able to design new reports in Excel.
- Keen analytical skills – the individual must demonstrate strong task management skills and should be able to work under supervision, as well as independently.
- Basic PowerPoint skills are desirable.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate.
