Role and Responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
- Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
- Controls and manages own daily automation activities.
- Provides internal quality assurance around automation built.
- Organizes and maintains the Automation script library.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Knowledge of building automation frameworks. (Data driven and Hybrid).
- Strong hands-on experience using Java, Selenium, C#.
- Experience on cucumber.
- Automation test management experience (more on individual contributor capacity).
- Strong in problem solving skills.
- Adequate exposure to client facing engagements.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
- Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
- Willingly and successfully fulfils the role as senior member, mentor and coach to junior team members.
