Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance our Java-based legacy enterprise application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Lead and participate in the future migration of the application to cloud platforms, including planning, execution, and optimization phases.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java.
- Experience with legacy systems and understanding of the challenges involved in maintaining and upgrading such systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud migration strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Experience in re-engineering applications for cloud environments.
