Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop statistical methodologies and deploy analytical tools to support different business initiatives.
- Continual enhancement of statistical techniques and their applications in solving business objectives.
- Compile and analyze the results from modeling output and translate into actionable insights.
- Identify and prioritize optimization of marketing campaigns in close collaboration with different partners.
- Develop demand models to support business priorities.
- Acquire and share deep knowledge of data utilized by the team and its business partners.
- Participate in global conference calls and meetings as needed and manage multiple customer interfaces.
- Execute analytics special studies and ad hoc analyses.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve analytical processes.
- Set own priorities and timelines to accomplish projects (accountability for project deliverables).
- Further development of relevant analytical tools and processes in close cooperation with the global teams.
- Definition of new tasks and the necessary requirements for them according to specifications.
- Presenting results including preparing recommendations for management decisions.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Candidates should have significant hands-on experience with analytics projects using advanced Statistical / Econometrics / Operation Research / Actuarial or related quantitative techniques across various functions.
- Experience in Marketing, Sales, & Service, Customer Satisfaction, and applying analytical methods in the areas of pricing, marketing, and consumer insight.
- Candidates should have experience in handling large databases, metrics, methods and processes as well as data mining and visualization.
- Candidates should have profound experience in the application and implementation of advanced optimization methods and programming languages (Time series models, demand models, choice models, etc.).
- Candidates will be expected to successfully prioritize and manage multiple analytical projects / ad-hoc requests.
- Good technical depth and ability to apply technical knowledge to support business priorities.
- Candidate should possess strong communication skills.
- Modeling: Proficiency in at least one of R / Python/ MATLAB.
