Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating test cases that cover all aspects of the software, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing (if required)
- Responsible to execute test cases, record test results, and report any issues or bugs found during testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found during testing.
- Should document all test cases, test results, and issues found during testing, creating comprehensive reports that can be shared with stakeholders.
- Work to continuously evaluate the testing process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance, including knowledge of different types of testing such as manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and knowledge of various testing methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, etc. to apply appropriate testing techniques for the project.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, etc.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries (joins, aggregation, conversion between, and functions for date/number/character)
- Experience working respectfully in a culturally diverse work environment.
- Ability to work independently and with teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with coworkers globally in English.
- Should have excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects.
