Role and Responsibilities:
- To successfully demonstrate ability to deputise in the absence of Manager, Operations.
- Ability to network, communicate and participate in meeting customers and stakeholder’s expectation.
- Act as point of escalation for the team in the absence of Manager, Operations.
- Participate in all related forums and meetings an respresenting the Manager in his/her absence.
- Participate in various forums and provide ideas for improvement in terms of process flow and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- A degree / qualification in finance, accountancy, business management or previous experience in risk management (Market Risk) or quantitative courses.
- Good understanding of financial products, risk management principles, market risk measures (i.e. PVBP, VaR) and systems.
- High level of competency in the production of information, and the ability to process, analyze and interpret market risk reports.
- High proficiency in Excel (VBA skill would be an advantage), Word and Powerpoint. Average proficiency in MS Access.
- Evidenced ability to build rapport with various stakeholders and can contribute to make the team more effective.
- Excellent Communication, planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently, writes business letters and reports, and has good conversational / telephone skills.
- Knowledge in Global Banking and Markets.
- Possess good problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to plan & organize effectively as well as adopt a flexible approach to change.
- Good Analytical and communication skills – Written & Verbal.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good team player.
