Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Analytics team is currently seeking a skilled intern who is passionate about data modelling.
- The research prospects include but are not limited to analysis of damage data due earthquake events by utilizing statistical and data analysis techniques to assess earthquake risks across various scenarios.
- Candidate during the internship will work with experienced professionals and explore various statistical tools and techniques to automate existing workflow by creating reproducible codes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills preferably in R/ python using various statistical and mathematical packages.
- Proficiency in handling and interpreting large datasets to identify meaningful information out of it.
- Good working knowledge of MS-Excel.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and Excellent attention to details.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, able to present complex information lucidly to the team members.
- MS or M.Tech degree in relevant field in science or engineering such as Earthquake Engineering, Civil Engineering, structural engineering, Seismology.
