Roles and Responsibilities:
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Integration of data storage solutions using MongoDB & MYSQL.
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Analyze requests for enhancements/changes and write amendment/program specifications.
- Understand the inter-dependencies of the services (application, system, and database) and be able to pin-point problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
- Minimum 0-1 year of relevant experience in designing application architecture.
- Sound technical knowledge in Node JS. Working experience with Express JS/ Nest JS, a Serverless framework is MUST
- Knowledge of one or more Node JS ORM like Sequelize/ TypeORM/ Mongoose.
- Good Logical, Analytical, and Communication Skills.
- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB & MYSQL.
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, ReactJS, and Prisma is an advantage.
- Knowledge of micro-services & AWS Lambda functions.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
