Role and Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required.
- Should have good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze, discuss, and report defects and validate defects logged by junior testers and review defect reports.
- Candidates should have good experience in Requirement Gathering.
- Ability to recognize and assess problems quickly, identify alternatives, prioritize, and escalate as required in order to resolve them.
- Strong leadership skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Having Very good knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Test process, and AGILE methodology.
- Ability to provide timely progress reports of assignments to management for the assigned projects.
- Ability to understand and contribute to the Test Plan (scope, types of testing, tools, estimation), Test Design, Regression Suite, and Defect Tracking.
- Ability to convert client requirements into system specifications and test plans.
- Bug Tracking, Bug Reporting activities, and Risk Analysis.
- Screening and validation of the application through database and system logs.
- Good to have Mobile Testing and Automation.
- Good knowledge of API Testing using Postman/Swagger-
- Automation testing experience using Java in Selenium is a MUST.
- Load Testing experience using JMeter is a MUST.
- Good to have Web Automation.
- Good to Have Software Testing Certification eg: – ISTQB.
- Mobile automation testing using Appium.
- Good to have Performance testing experience using Jmeter.
