Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement configuration management with Salt.
- Manage multiple Kubernetes (k8s) clusters in different cloud environments.
- Design and manage CI, and CD pipelines on Jenkins(CI) and ArgoCD.
- Automation of routine tasks with Shell and Python to maximize productivity.
- Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues and developer challenges.
- Develop and implement IaC with OpenTofu (previous Terraform) on public clouds.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and IT teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient with DevOps paradigm and concepts.
- Proficient with Salt or Ansible and OpenTofu (Terraform).
- Experience in Scripting (Bash or Python).
- Experience with CI/ CD tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
- Experience working with GNU/ Linux or any Unix-like Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of security in DevSecOps and best practices.
- Knowledge of observability and the LGTM, ELK stack.
- Knowledge of K8s, Docker, and relevant concepts.
- Knowledge of public clouds like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Networking and security concepts.
