Role and Responsibilities:
- Phenom People is looking for a talented and motivated Product Quality Engineer I to join our Engineering team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
- This is a full-time position.
- As a Product Quality Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining products and services.
- You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of new products and services.
- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and product development.
- You should also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Software Development experience Hands on experience in both Manual and Automation testing. Writing and executing manual tests for web apps, desktop, and APIs.
- Knowledge of Functionality, Usability, Interface, Performance and Security testing.
- A keen eye to quickly find UI bugs related to padding, margin, pixel misalignments, etc.
- Understanding of web applications/website related issues.
- Experience with common bug tracking software such MS Office, Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- JavaScript or Java programming experience to write test code.
- Knowledge of Postman tool.
- Experience in UI and API automation.
- Experience/Exposure in performance testing and Apache JMeter will be big plus.
- Monitor the Automation runs for failures if any and report Defects for the failures in the automation run.
- Knowledge of Git, GitHub/TFS, and Jenkins.
- Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
