Role and Responsibilities:
- Actively investigating asset management firms and investment professionals that are included in S&P’s, (Bigdough) North American buy-side database.
- Communicating directly with investment professionals to obtain details on their investment process over the phone and emails.
- Identifying sources and creating processes for collecting and tracking new information and verify the existing information as needed.
- Analyzing regulatory filings, prospectuses, industry publications, firm websites and other sources for information pertaining to asset management firms and their investments.
- Entering all changes and new information into the databases in the specified format. Communicating regularly with team leader/management/team members regarding status of projects and workload.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills, specifically over the telephone 1 year of international calling experience.
- Strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance or commerc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Interest in financial research and internet research.
- Enjoys and can handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work in both a team and individual environments.
- Strong attention to details.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of capital markets including equities and fixed income markets preferred.
- Should be flexible with US shifts (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST ).
