Role and Responsibilities:
- Refresh the practices and standards of Telstra Software Engineering with latest updates / innovations / trends from Industry.
- Identify and ideate automation of the practices that can be templatized or automated in parts or whole to be embedded into pipelines.
- Deliver components / utilities that form part of the best practices to be used by the feature teams.
- Define, design and implement the governance framework around the adoption of standards and practices prescribed by Tech Practices CoE.
- Take part in the Practices Champion program to upkeep and accelerate the adoption of best practices in SDLC to promote standardized delivery processes/methods across feature teams.
- Leverage strong interpersonal skills to partner with other feature leads, business and technology delivery teams in order to influence them to leverage best practices in the planning, design and execution of projects to accelerate the delivery of business and customer outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Automation, Typescript, python/Java.
- ReactJS/NodeJS.
- AWS.
- Abreast with the latest developments and innovations.
- Knowledgeable and hence could articulate the industry best practices in all phases of SDLC.
- Good knowledge in SRE principles and practical application of SRE.
- Good understanding of metrics and data driven improvements and how to measure success.
