Role and Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of system and regression tests for all software in accordance with the Departmental standards and procedures.
- Design and writing of automation test plans to ensure business requirements are implemented.
- Review requirements and design documents for validity and testability.
- Document all defects in accordance with Departmental process.
- Analyse the impact of software changes to identify risks and prioritise regression testing.
- Plan, design and execute test scenarios in compliance with Verisk test strategy.
- Identify and define suitable test data to support the execution of test scenario.
- Identify and log system defects and assist the development team with diagnosis.
- Track and re-test defects.
- Create automated test scripts.
- Maintain test coverage and progress metrics.
- Review release notes and schedule releases for testing.
- Trouble shoot issues to identify solutions and possible workarounds.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- 1- 3 Years of proven experience in to Automation testing.
- Good Working experience on automation tools primarily Cypress.io or Selenium etc.
- Should have 1+ Years of experience working on Cucumber Framework.
- Proper test engineer who can code test scripts in JavaScript and/or Java.
- Experience and knowledge of testing principles within an Agile development environment.
- A good understanding of running automated test suites.
- Strong communication skills; teamwork and interpersonal skills; analytical, problem-solving and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
- Broad knowledge of business processes and analysis function.
- Experience in using software tool(s) (preferably JIRA) to manage and track development tasks.
